Guided Meditations

Meditate with Me

Meditation is one of my favorite experiences. I wish I had learned this special way to ease my stress, fears, and discomfort as a child so I could have used this throughout my life. Nevertheless, anytime is the perfect time to begin, and I began at the turn of the millennium. Wherever you are in your journey, Welcome. Meditation is the perfect place for “beginner’s mind.”

Discover your innate eternal wellspring of comfort, love, and ease through meditation. Meditation can provide you with the comfort of knowing that wherever you are and whatever you feel, you have practices to help you feel centered and calm.

We all need external support from family, friends, and/or others in our communities. That love and support is essential. And it doesn’t replace our need to cultivate self-love, self-trust, and self-soothing methods, too.

You also can uncover many other benefits of meditation such as a clearer mind, deeper connection to intuition, and so much more.

How to Meditate with Me

Here is a guided meditation called Meditation for Ease Amidst Discomfort. I created this to support you whether you are experiencing emotional or physical discomfort, or if you simply want a relaxing meditation. (Please remember, none of this is medical advice. Always consult your healthcare providers.)

Also, below is a guided session of three, slow rounds of deep belly breathing, also known as diaphragmatic breathing, to allow the lungs to take in more air and to induce the relaxation response (the parasympathetic nervous system). Because the body and mind communicate with each other, if we change our breathing to signal the relaxation response, that can induce relaxation quickly. For more information, you might want to read this article by Cleveland Clinic, or this one by Harvard Health. As always, this is not medical advice, please speak to your healthcare practitioner before trying a new practice.
